Excellent tour with local guides (Peter Amis) that were super kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Highlights are the desert crossing and all the activity along the coast of Oman. Things I would change: 1. The first day we arrived at 6 am in Muscat and started the tour of the city at 8:30. Having the morning till at least 11 free to recup from the flight would be ideal. There is no need to see everything in Muscat in a day 2. the area of Nizwa and the mountain are neat but I would not spend more than a night over there. over there. Diana point is also neat but not extraordinary. Reducing the time spent there would allow to have more time on the desert and desert crossing (outstanding experiences) and might also allow us to see the white desert or spend more time along the gorgeous coast of Oman (outstanding experience with turtle nesting and solitary and pristine beaches).
